introduction
For decades, China has attracted worldwide attention for its
achievements in promoting the health of women and children, and its achievements have provided valuable
experience for many other developing countries.
In 2018, the International Health Exchange and Cooperation
Center (IHECC) of National Health Commission and the United Nations children's fund (UNICEF) jointly
established Training Hub, aiming to build an innovative flagship project of China's health cooperation with
developing countries.
The Training Hub aims to promote south-south cooperation in technology and experience
sharing, especially between China and Belt & Road countries. Specific objectives include:
(I) To
design and establish centers of excellences (COEs).
(II) To develop standardized training courses.
(III)
To enhance the evidence-based decision-making capacity of local decision-makers and the technical capacity of
maternal and child health to promote maternal and child health "One Belt And One Road" national.
